This work is not suitable if you are experiencing any of the following:
Pregnancy (first or final trimester), or within 6 months postpartum
Age over 75
Diagnosed severe PTSD
Severe mental health conditions (e.g. bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis)
Use of medications that significantly alter brain chemistry (e.g. antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, antipsychotics)
Recent surgeries, fractures, or physical injuries
Epilepsy or history of seizures
Aneurysms or family history of aneurysms
Serious cardiovascular or heart conditions
Severe asthma
Psychiatric hospitalization, emotional crises, or spiritual emergencies in the last 3 years
Any condition that might affect your ability to safely engage in deep emotional or physical release work

Energy is the essence of both our biology and spirit. While unseen, like emotions, it is deeply felt. Scientifically, our nervous system and electromagnetic fields influence everything from cellular repair to emotional balance. When energy is blocked, stress and illness can arise. Spiritually, energy is life force—known as qi, prana, or spirit—flowing through us as vitality and connection. At Wellrose, energy healing gently releases what the body holds, restoring harmony to both body and soul. This practice fosters clarity, resilience, and emotional freedom, helping you feel grounded and aligned for a more fulfilling life.
During a Spinal Energetics session, you may experience a range of physical, emotional, and energetic sensations as their body unwinds and reorganizes. Some common experiences include:
Spontaneous movement – gentle swaying, stretching, or wave-like motions as the body releases tension.
Deep relaxation – a sense of heaviness, lightness, or floating as the nervous system shifts into regulation.
Energetic sensations – tingling, warmth, or a feeling of currents moving through the body.
Emotional release – waves of emotion, memories surfacing, or a cathartic sense of relief.
Expanded awareness – a meditative, dreamlike state or a deeper connection to oneself.
Each person’s response to the treatment is very unique, meeting you exactly where you are. The process is always guided by the body’s wisdom, unfolding at a pace that feels safe and natural. Some people move a little, others move a lot during their first session. Some people take months or years; other’s never ‘move’ at all.
*It is important to note, that the amount of movement does not directly correlate to the amount of depth or benefits a person may receive during an appointment.
Before your session: Set a positive intention—what would you like to welcome or create space for in your life? Stay hydrated, avoid heavy meals or caffeine for at least two hours, and wear comfortable clothing. For online sessions, prepare a quiet, comfortable space where you can lie down undisturbed, with your camera and speakers on. After your session: Allow 3–4 days for integration. You may feel tired, emotional, or experience vivid dreams or detox-like symptoms. Be gentle with yourself—rest, hydrate, nourish your body, and let emotions flow without judgment.
We recommend starting with at least three sessions to allow your body to adapt and fully benefit from the treatment. Spacing sessions about two weeks apart helps with integration and maximizes the healing process. Many clients find ongoing sessions valuable as they progress on their unique wellness journey.
We understand that plans can change. Single sessions can be rescheduled or canceled with a full refund if you provide at least 24 hours' notice. While packages are non-refundable, individual sessions within a package can be rescheduled with the same 24-hour notice. To make changes, simply click the 'Change/Cancel Appointment' button in your confirmation email or email us directly at kate@wellrose.co for assistance.
You don’t need experience with energy work, breathwork, or body-based therapy. All that’s required is openness and a willingness to explore. We sometimes call it "non-verbal therapy".
If you feel deeply disconnected from your body, or experience chronic inflammation or pain, it may take more time to drop in. In these cases, we recommend starting with physical practices that help strengthen your mind-body connection - such as:
